Coastguards were called out at the weekend after reports of people swimming out too far in the west of the Island.
At approximately 10pm on Friday, June 15 crews responded to reports of people swimming off Fenella beach in Peel.
There were concerns those involved were swimming out too far and might get into difficulties.
However, when crews arrived there was no-one to be seen, they arrived back on station at 10.45pm.
