Coastguards in Peel were called out at the weekend after a fishing vessel got into difficulties.
Teams were called at 4.30pm to the craft which had fouled it's propeller and was drifting towards Peel beach.
RNLI crews were about to head to the scene before another fishing boat took it under tow, before being tied up safely at the breakwater.
Members were back on station by 5.40pm.
