Coastguards were called out this morning after a dog and its owner swam out to sea.
Crews say whilst having an 'early morning dip' off Peel beach the dog then headed straight out to sea - with his owner following suit.
After the owners partner lost sight of them both a 999 call was made.
However, they both got out of the water by the kiosk on the breakwater safe, if not a little cold!
