Coastguards were called out at the weekend to assist in a rescue.
Douglas Coastguard Rescue Team were called out in the early hours of Sunday morning by the Marine Operations Centre.
At 3.47am Helicopter Rescue 936 transferred the patient that needed medical help.
The team say they were back to the station and ready for service again by 5.15am and wish the patient a speedy recovery.
