A weather warning for coastal overtopping is currently in place across the Island.
The yellow warning remains in force until 3pm this afternoon.
Areas most likely to be affected include Castletown Promenade, Shore Road in Rushen and the northern end of Douglas prom.
Forecasters predict near-gale force south to south-westerly winds - with high tide at 1.15pm later today.
