A weather warning for coastal overtopping is in place from later this morning.
The yellow warning comes in at 10am and runs until 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
Ronaldsway Met Office says areas most likely to be affected include central and northern douglas prom, Laxey and Ramsey Promenade.
They add strong east to southeast winds will bringw ater and debris onto exposed roads.
