The Isle of Man Climate Change Coalition has praised Island students who staged a walkout on Friday over climate change.
Pupils from schools across the Isle of Man were part of a walkout held outside Tynwald last week urging for government action on the matter.
The coalition has described the event as 'totally unprecedented' - saying its one of the few ways young people can get their voices heard.
Students from countries across the globe took to the streets on March 15 over the subject.
