A social club in Onchan is seeking permission to create a tourist spot for during the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.
Onchan Pensioners Social Club has put forward plans to turn the football ground on Blackberry Lane and it's facilities into a non-permanent campsite during each event.
In it's application it says amenities for the location are based at the nearby Douglas High School Old Boys AFC clubhouse.
Recently, Cronkbourne Cricket Club also put forward an application to put a temporary camping area in place for those attending both festivals.
