An emergency road closure is in place on part of the Millennium Way as the path is now 'impassable.'
The Department of Infrastructure says parts of the path had washed out and had become increasingly poor.
A drainage team is undertaking repairs and the public is asked to stay well away for safety reasons.
The closure is in place for a week, when the situation will be reviewed.
