Parents and guardians of clinically vulnerable children aged 5 - 11 are now able to register their child for the Covid-19 vaccine.
Last month, following advice from the UK’s Joint Commission on Vaccination and Immunisation, the Island announced young children aged 5 - 11 with certain conditions should be offered two doses of the vaccine.
This includes severe neurodisabilities, immunosuppression, severe learning disabilities and Down's syndrome.
Parents or guardians of eligible children are asked to register using the online registration form (not the booster booking system) and if this fails, to email vaccinations@gov.im with the child’s information.
Specific paediatric clinics are currently being planned by the team for early Feb, with the exact dates and times to be confirmed.
