Teams are assessing the damage after Storm Barra yesterday.
A clean-up operation is under way after Storm Barra hit the island yesterday with winds of up to 80mph.
There's no weather warning in place today (Wednesday) and several trees have now been removed from roads across the island.
The airport was due to reopen this morning as normal despite structural damage to the terminal roof.
Sweepers have been used to clear debris on Douglas Promenade which has now reopened despite a collapsed wall which left parts of the Sunken Gardens flooded.
There's also been some damage reported in the south of the island at Fort Island near Castletown.
The causeway wall will be assessed today but for now, members of the public are being advised to stay away from the area.
The department of infrastructure said Queens Promenade in Ramsey will remain closed until midday because of "a breach of the promenade wall"
A spokesman added: "This will be inspected by engineers when conditions allow, and made safe".
Meanwhile, Manx care said the Covid Swabbing Centre in Douglas will also be open as normal today.
