A local ceramic and fine art studio recently created a special commission for a pop star’s birthday.
Aossi, based in Peel, was asked to create something for Kylie Minogue’s 56th birthday by a close friend who attended a pottery workshop there.
Artists Colette Gambell and Kate Jerry forged a one-of-a-kind tea cup for Kylie, with the title of one of her songs from her latest album, ‘Tension’ translated into Manx: ‘Hold onto now’/‘Cummal yn traa nish.’
It’s believed the singer loved a cup of tea and so the artists created the piece for her.
