A rider who crashed during the Classic TT says he's lucky to be alive.
Andy Whale thanked all those who helped him, and the spectator who reached out an gave him footage of the crash which he doesn't actually remember.
He said wearing the right gear meant the worst injuries he suffered were some fractured vertebrae in his neck.
The rider posted footage to social media which shows him lying in the road after coming off in Glen Helen, with another rider driving past carefully.
