Classic Musical Oliver Comes To The Isle of Man

A local production of a Charles Dickens classic starts tonight.

Oliver will be on at the Gaiety Theatre each night for the next two weeks.

The Taylorian Productions are presenting their fourth summer show to the Isle of Man.

There's is a young cast performing in the sing-a-long musical.

12 year old Alex McAuley from Douglas plays Dodger every other night and says he can't wait to wow the crowds on the big stage. He told 3FM he watched the film over and over again before his auditions.

Matt James produces the show and says everybody involved has been great, especially considering its such a young cast. He says he's delighted that the company can continue to bring much remembered theatrical entertainment to the Manx Public.
