Claire Wells has been re-elected as leader of Douglas Council for the next year.
She says it’s an opportunity for the council to be more ‘consistent’ with its approaches and to ‘achieve bigger and better’ things for residents.
Councillor Wells was voted in by seven votes to six, with a deciding vote from the previous Mayor Janet Thommeny.
