Should the Island's Civic Amenity Sites all have the same opening hours?
That was the question in the House of Keys this week when Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer faced questions on the subject from North Douglas MHK David Ashford.
Mr Harmer said the idea was a good one, as it would end confusion about when people can drop their rubbish off.
But he said the sites are run by local authorities so his department has no direct power to change the hours:
