The Northern Civic Amenity Site will close for just over a week at the end of this month.
Ramsey commissioners, who run the site, say it will temporarily close as they hand it over to the new operator.
As a result, it won't be open from Tuesday, March 24 until Wednesday, April 1.
The local authority has thanked its staff, who've run the waste disposal site for the last nine years.
