A church in the north of the Island says it wants to remove its rusty railings to be more welcoming.
St Paul's Church on Market Place has applied for planning permission to take down iron railings on its perimeter wall.
In its application, it says the fencing isn't part of the original church and their sharp edges could be dangerous.
It says it would remove them and repair and repaint the wall.
