The number of people going to church on a Sunday went up by 15 per cent last year, according to the latest figures from the Church of England.
Its latest Statistics for Mission report covers 2015 and shows an average of 1,500 went to Island churches on a Sunday compared to 1,300 the previous year.
The number of adults attending during the week stayed level at 1,800.
The report says 2.4 per cent of the Island's population went to church on a 2015 weekday, while 1.5 per cent attended on a Sunday.
