Today is the deadline for sending Christmas mail to Western Europe.
Anyone wanting to send mail to HM Forces personnel have until Thursday to get their items posted.
The last posting date for sending letters and packets to the UK is December 21st, with the final day of next day guaranteed service for both UK and local delivery Parcel force is December 23rd.
To cope with the extra workload the mail and parcel collection counter at Douglas Sorting Office has also extended its opening hours, open from 7am will 9.30pm from Monday to Friday until December 23rd.
