Claire Christian and Paul Quine have been elected as the new MHK’s for Douglas South.
Both were voted in following a by-election in the borough today which saw a 37.8 per cent turnout from voters.
Mrs Christian took the most votes with 930 whilst Mr Quine secured 469 - both will serve in their new posts until the next Isle of Man General Election in September next year.
Until today, both MHK positions for the constituency had been vacant following the passing of Bill Malarkey earlier this year and the resignation of Kate Costain last month.
