The Chief Executive Officer of The Children's Centre has tendered his resignation.
After 14 years in the post - John Knight is moving to the UK to take up a new care-related CEO position.
Over the course of his tenure, the number of staff has grown from 56 to 172.
Residential children's homes, nurseries, family centres, fostering and adoption, outreach, and supervised contact services have also been introduced or expanded.
Mr Knight insists that his resignation was handed in before the controversy surrounding government's decision to transfer contracts from the Children's Centre to St. Christopher's Isle of Man.
He says the two matters are in no way linked:

Should the Island throw a birthday party for Barry Gibb?
