People are being warned not to jump into or swim in the Island's harbours - follow reports of some 'near misses'.
It comes following numerous reports to Coastguard and harbour officers of people doing so - thanks to the latest spell of good weather.
In particular, coastguards are concerned about children, who may not know the dangers of jumping into cold, and deceptively shallow water.
It is an offence under the Harbours Act to swim, bathe or dive from any harbour pier or any part of a harbour which lies within a pier head.
Anyone who doesn't comply with instruction given by a Harbour Officer can be prosecuted or fined up to £5,000.
