Primary school children in the capital are being allowed a sneak peek at how Douglas Council runs its meetings.
Pupils from Scoill yn Jubilee’s school council were invited by the mayor for a tour of the offices and a visit to the local authority’s public meeting on Wednesday.
Natalie Byron-Teare is hoping the initiative carries on and the primary schools can have their meetings in the chamber.
She says engaging with the schools has been one of her aims since she took on the role:
