The Children’s Centre is in the planning stages of a major scheme that will both improve children’s lives and the Island’s tourism figures.
With 2014 representing the Island’s year of culture, the centre wants to make 2016 the year of play.
Play development officer Chris Gregory has been on a mission to educate children and parents on the benefits that come with regular traditional play.
Chris says the plans for 2016 represent the culmination of seven years of work trying to deliver the message:
