A select committee has been established to look into the care and upbringing of children, especially those in cases of broken marriages and other relationships.
First raised following a petition for redress - the issue was presented at this year’s Tynwald Day by a Mr Phillip James Walmsley - who was seeking a review of the law.
Members elected to the committee are Kate Beecroft MHK, Phil Gawne MHK and its elected chairman, Juan Turner MLC.
