Police are investigating after a child was bitten by a dog on a beach in the South of the Island.
According to officers, the incident happened on Gansey beach sometime between 4.30pm and 5pm on Friday, August 2.
The constabulary is looking to locate the woman who was walking the animal and also want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
Anyone with information which could assist authorities are being asked to get in touch with Castletown Police Station or Police Headquarters.
