Plans to allow unrestricted travel between here and the British Isles by the end of June remains the governments' goal.
That's according to Chief Minister Howard Quayle in a statement released at the weekend.
It comes as plans to move to level 2 of the border framework have been delayed due to concerns over the the Indian variant in the UK.
Instead, we've moved to 'Level 2.5', meaning travellers may only have to isolate for 48 hours - subject to a negative Covid test.
Mr Quayle reiterated government's 'overall goal' for the end of June remains their aspiration.
