The Chief Minister will hold a COVID-19 briefing this evening - but won't be announcing any lockdown measures or restrictions.
That's the latest from the government - who've confirmed Mr Cannan will speak to the Manx public at 6pm.
He will be providing an update on the Covid situation and booster programme - alongside some changes to policies and procedures.
However, a government spokesperson has reiterated the Chief Minister will not be announcing any restrictions, closures or lockdowns.
