Chief Minister Alf Cannan will face questions about a development site on North Quay in Douglas this week.
When Tynwald sits from Tuesday, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will ask him about the former Newson's site.
Its owner said he was giving up developments on the Isle of Man after planners turned down proposals for the site because he wanted to demolish it in a conservation area.
Mr Thomas wants to know if the government's considered its viability and what contribution it could make to the site.
