Chief Minister targets youth unemployment

Allan Bell says increasing unemployment levels need to be tackled

Allan Bell may have been in the job for only a few days but he's already targeting youth unemployment as a key focus area of his government.

The new chief minister says it's vital the new-look Tynwald caters for the concerns and issues surrounding young Manx people.

He said that although youth employment in the island isn't a major issue, it is on the increase and needs to be tackled.

Mr Bell is also expected to announce his new ministerial cabinet over the next few days.
