Chief Minister Alf Cannan has survived a vote of no confidence.
The motion put forward by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover was defeated with 18 votes against it and six in favour.
Former Health and Social Care minister Lawrie Hooper and Onchan MKH Julie Edge were among those who voted that Mr Cannan was unfit to continue in his role.
While Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson, Education, Sport and Culture minister Daphne Caine and Enterprise minister Tim Johnston were among those who opposed the motion.
