The Chief Minister says he isn’t convinced a rival shipping service to the Steam Packet will take off.
Earlier this year the Ellan Vannin Line announced plans to introduce a freight and passenger service.
It’s a decision that’s been heavily criticised by the shipping unions who say as a result hundreds of jobs will be at risk.
