The Island's Chief Minister has paid tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore who's passed away today at the age of 100 after testing positive for Covid-19.
The Second World War veteran from England raised over 32 million pounds for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday last year.
Mr Quayle says: "Saddened to learn the news of Captain Sir Tom Moore's passing.
"He was a beacon of light in the darkest of days, a true hero and inspiration in Britain, the Isle of Man and beyond. A remarkable legacy.
My thoughts are with his family and loved ones."
