The Chief Minister was asked in the House of Keys this morning if he would consider the possibility of introducing another National day for the Isle of Man.
Douglas North MHK Bill Henderson put the question to him, suggesting Illiam Dhone as a possible candidate.
The Chief Minister said any proposal for creating such a day would require careful consideration in terms of justification, implications and cost.
He said it would be opened up to the public to gather their thoughts; it will also go before the Council of Ministers Governance Committee.
