Chief Minister Alf Cannan is in London today as he attends the State Opening of the UK Parliament.
He was invited to attend the ceremony by Speaker of the House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP.
Today's State Opening is the first under the new Labour government and will see Sir Keir Starmer lay out the new laws he wants to pass during the King's Speech.
It is the first time representatives from the Crown dependencies have been invited.
