The Island's Chief Minister has sent his congratulations to the UK's new Prime Minister.
Liz Truss was announced as the winner of the leadership race earlier this week, beating Rishi Sunak and taking over from Boris Johnson.
In a post on social media, Alf Cannan says he sends his congratulations on behalf of the Isle of Man Government.
He adds he wishes her every success for the future.
