That's according to the Home Affairs Minister who has responded to questioning from North Douglas MHK John Houghton.
He was asking if any licensing law amendments could be made to improve the standards required of a person looking for employment in a pub or club.
Juan Watterson says his department is currently embarking on a major review of the entire licensing act.
