The Manx Utilities Authority says it's fixed a problem that led to raw sewage flowing into the sea off Ramsey.
Yesterday, problems with an outfall pipe meant the sewage was flowing directly onto the northern end of Mooragh beach.
The MUA says its workers managed to fix the problem at around 3.30 this morning, working through the night.
Quality checks will be done at both high and low tides today, and the public is being kept away from the area until these have been completed.
