A local charity has voiced its concerns over proposed charges for eye tests.
The Manx Blind Welfare Society says people may be discouraged from going for routine checks if they have to pay for them.
Chief Executive Ian Cooil says tests can spot potential issues and eye conditions before they get any worse - and so checks are vital.
He says he's against any measure dissuading people from undergoing tests:
