A charity is being launched tonight by the family of the former Mayor of Douglas.
Dot Pitts died in November last year after a long battle with cancer.
When she was Mayor of Douglas in 2008/2009, she managed to raise over £36k for local charities, despite herself being very unwell.
Dotts four children are launching the Dot's Dream Foundation to continue her good work in the local community.
Debbie says working to help local charities has been a huge part of their lives.
