A local charity has saved the life of an injured chicken.
The Manx Wild Bird Aid posted a video on social media to tell the story of 'Evie' - who they originally thought may not make it.
She was found abandoned, having been knocked down by a car and dragged along the road, before eventually being found by a dog walker late at night.
The charity found her alone, confused and scared in the dark with a broken leg- and feared due to her injuries she wouldn't survive.
However, after being rehabilitated - being built a harness to exercise her legs - she's gone on to recover.
The charity has described her a a 'tough girl' and says it's a lovely story which it hopes people will enjoy.
