An employee of Southern Befrienders is taking on a fundraising challenge to raise money for the charity.
Social Events Co-ordinator Mandy Karsa is doing a pedal power challenge over what would have been the TT fortnight.
She'll complete a few miles every day on her exercise bike, until she completes the equivalent to a lap - 37 ¾ miles.
It comes following the Covid outbreak impacting the charity's ability to fundraise.
The charity has provided companionship and friendship to older, socially isolated people for the last fifteen years.
Their dedicated volunteers visit older people every week for a chat and a cuppa, they organise regular social events, like lunches, bingo and chippy suppers, as well as outings to places of interest on the Island.
Donations can be made via the Southern Befrienders Golden Giving page, cheque or bank transfer.
