A local bereavement charity is asking the public to help them by taking part in a sponsored swim.
'Cruse Bereavement Care' has supported locals for the last 35 years when they've experienced the loss of a loved one.
The charity says although it doesn't charge its clients, the costs to deliver this type of care and support is around £600 per person.
In order to raise funds, the team have now organised a fundraising swim at the Western Swimming Pool in Peel.
The charity is asking people to come together to swim a combined 10k (400 lengths) in the hopes to raise £10,000.
It's all set to take place on Sunday, July 23 between 3-7pm.
We spoke to the charity's Chief Executive Officer Mary Doyle:
Entry is £10 for adults, and £5 for children - it's asked youngsters can swim 20 lengths comfortably.
