Residents are being reminded GP appointments won't be available this Thursday afternoon.
It's while a talk is presented to Island GP's by a representative from the Royal College of General Practitioners from 1pm until 6pm.
However, the government says practices will remain open for patients to collect test results, book future appointments and collect repeat prescriptions as normal.
It's added anyone who requires an urgent appointment should telephone the surgery to speak to an on-call doctor.
