The Island’s Chief Minister has today announced a series of changes to the political membership of some departments, statutory boards and other government bodies.
They are as follows:
John Houghton MHK to be chairman of the Water and Sewerage Authority (subject to Tynwald approval) and to be a member of the Department of Infrastructure. Mr Houghton remains vice chairman of the Manx Electricity Authority.
Peter Karran MHK to be a member of the Department of Home Affairs.
Alan Crowe MLC to leave the Department of Home Affairs, remaining a member of the Department of Economic Development.
Leonard Singer MHK to leave the Civil Service Commission, joining the Department of Health and the Public Sector Pensions Authority. Mr Singer will remain a member of the Department of Social Care.
Dudley Butt MLC to leave the Public Sector Pensions Authority, joining the Civil Service Commission. Mr Butt will remain a member of the Department of Health.
