Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw announced plans in July to make big changes to the universal benefits system as an alternative to raising taxes.
The department has received 650 responses from the public so far – Mr Robertshaw says this is a promising start and he looks forward to hearing from people face-to-face.
The public meeting is free for everyone to attend and begins at 7.30pm at the Manx Museum.
