Chance for behind the scenes look at Laxey Wheel works

Would you like a behind the scenes look at the conservation work ongoing at the Laxey Wheel?

Manx National Heritage is offering tours for those interested in learning more about the second phase of the repair work.

The two hour tour is led by the contractors, who are now working to fix the water wheel's broken rod mechanism, with the scaffolding expected to be removed at the end of summer.
