It’s not too late to start your training for the Parish Walk – according to last year’s winner Jock Waddington.
More than 800 people have already signed up to take part in the 85-mile endurance race, which takes place on June 23.
However, organisers are hopeful they will attract 2012 people to take part in the 2012 event.
Speaking to 3FM Jock said there is still enough time to train for those who are keen to take part (see audio).
The three-times winner also admitted to 3FM earlier this week that he’s tempted to enter this year’s event, despite previously saying he was taking a year out.
