The Chamber of Commerce is urging Tesco to support a wider range of Manx produce.
The organisation has issued an open letter to the Chief Minister following the news the supermarket will be taking over the Island's Shoprite stores.
It says that Tesco is in a unique position to lead the way in supporting local produce, and urge them to increase the range and volume of food produced on Island.
Chamber is also calling on the government to create a policy where all government owned and operated sites prioritise supply from on-Island producers.
